Thomas H. "Tom"  Robey
Thomas “Tom” Harold Robey, 82 of Coldwater, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Pierce from the First Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home. A private interment will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Thomas was born September 29, 1935 to Floyd and Margaret (Thatcher) Robey in Coldwater. On October 9, 1955 he married Claire Couillard in Coldwater. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2015. After graduation from Coldwater High School, he began a 60 plus year career as a truck driver.

Tom was a man of faith and a long-time member of First Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Coldwater Eagles and Moose Lodges. Tom enjoyed bowling and woodworking. He was a loving husband and father who was very supportive of his children. Tom’s true joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his quiet demeanor, and will be missed by many.

Thomas is survived by his children Carrie (Allen) Stout, David (Chris) Robey, Jon (Kris) Robey, Scott (Tammy) Robey all of Coldwater, his siblings Betty Neusbaum, Darlene Snyder, Mary Hart, Lorraine Fickle, Maxine Scott, and Edwin (Mary) Robey all of Coldwater; his sister-in-law Gail (Robert) Nichols of Coldwater; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 59 years Claire Robey.
