Obituary for Thelma M. Rogers

Thelma Mae Rogers, 93, of Coldwater passed away January 31, 2020 at the ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. She was born October 15, 1926 to Ralph and Bessie (Pothoff) Eggleston in Branch County. She married Daniel R. Rogers on June 2, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2014. Thelma graduated from Montgomery High School and had worked at the Coldwater Regional Center for 30 plus years until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of SERA (State Employment Retirement Association) and she enjoyed scrapbooking, board games, and attending her family’s school and sporting events. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren were the light of her life and she adored every one of them. Each one of them was special to her.
Thelma is survived by her three children, Karen Brannon of Marshall; Marlene (Larry Wilkinson) Rogers of Coldwater; Mona (Richard Moore) Rogers of High Point, NC; four grandchildren, Heidi Porter of Coldwater; Wes Brannon, Dana Krutsh, Kate (Scott) Wolf all of Marshall; twelve great grandchildren, Kelly, Jessica, Ashley, Robbie, Amanda, Jennifer, Matthew, Whitney, Lucas, Bianca, Ozzy, Savanah; twenty-one great- great grandchildren and her loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Daniel, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Edna Moore, one brother Ruben Eggleston, one great granddaughter Blaine Petrie, one great-great grandson Craig Wiegand Jr., and one son-in-law Wesley Brannon.
A memorial service for Thelma M. Rogers will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
