Obituary for Sheila Rae Eberts
Sheila Rae Eberts, 69, of Quincy passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at her home in Quincy surrounded by her loving family after a 3 year battle with cancer. In accordance to her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Albion, MI. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
She was born August 30, 1953 to Harry and Marilyn (Ringle) Burnworth in Albion, MI. Sheila worked for General Motors where she ultimately retired from; but upon her retirement she continued to serve and care for her community by volunteering at Coldwater Hospital. Sheila was a very loving and giving woman that in her earlier years enjoyed painting and traveling with her husband Mark. Her and Mark were married in 1995 spending the next 23 years building their beautiful family and home together. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was Sheila’s greatest passion and what she cherished above all else. She will be dearly missed as a devoted wife, loving mother, and adored grandmother.
In addition to her husband Mark, Sheila leaves behind her children Angela (Lamont) Green of Tontogany, OH, Rachelle (Mike) Dunn of Reading; her sister Dale Burnworth of Lansing, MI; her grandchildren Jayden Eberts, Baisden Green, Acasin Green, Whitney Neely, Austin Neely; her loving nieces and nephews and her special friends Wanda and Donna.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Randy Burnworth.
