Obituary for Sheila Ann Bystry

Sheila Ann Bystry, 74, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 peacefully at her home. A Celebration of Life for Sheila will be held at a later date with friends and family. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Sheila was born April 19, 1948 to Carl C. and Thelma L. (Knott) Woodard in Ypsilanti, MI. Sheila had worked at Walmart in Coldwater but was a mother and wife to her family first and foremost. On January 18, 1969 she married Richard “Dick” Bystry in Coldwater; he preceded her in death on October 19, 2007. She was a proud woman that found herself most at home outdoors as she enjoyed crafts, yardwork, gardening and birdwatching. Sheila had been a part of the local gardening club out of her knack for having a green thumb but her greatest passion of all was her family. She had a huge heart that she filled completely with the love she held for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sheila will be dearly missed for the love, laughter, and joy that she brought into the lives of her friends and family.
Sheila is survived by her children Scot Bystry of Coldwater, Tad (Amy) Bystry of Allegan, Dusty Bystry of Coldwater; her siblings Vickey Woodard of Jacksonville, FL, Daniel Woodard of Kissimmee, FL, Sonnie Bentley of Marietta, OH; her grandchildren Kyleigh (Devan) Bloom, Kassidy Bystry, Kelsey Bystry, Madison (Alex Liggett) Bystry, Kennedy Bystry; great grandchildren Hadleigh and Ryleigh Bloom and her many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Dick, She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jeanette Hermele and her brothers Clifford, Coy, and Randy Woodard.
Memorial Donations are suggested to the Branch County Humane Society, 969 Wildwood Rd. #9508, Quincy, MI 49082 or Compassus Hospice, 5220 Lovers Ln. #140, Portage, MI 49002.
