Obituary for Sharon Lee Cole

Sharon Lee Cole, 88, of Coldwater, MI left this earth to be with Jesus on Friday, March 24, 2023. Sharon was a resident at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater. A memorial service will be held for Sharon Friday, April 7, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. The family will receive guests for visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
She was born March 7, 1935 to Paul and Lillian (Summers) Miller in Lansing, MI. On November 19, 1952 she married Delbert Cole in Marshall, MI. In her early years Sharon worked as a cook at numerous restaurants and later at Riverside Manufacturing in Coldwater where she ultimately retired from. She was an active and devout member of her church and often donated her time as a volunteer through the Department of Health and Welfare. Sharon was a loving, dedicated mother that made their house a home always providing for her family. She was a talented and creative cook; she was also an artistic woman that enjoyed drawing, sewing, knitting and reading. Sharon harbored a passion for music as she played harmonica, mandolin, piano, and the banjo. She sang with the voice of an Angel accompanying her husband as he played guitar in their shared love for music. Sharon held many passions an interests but none were greater than the love she held for her family.
Sharon leaves behind her children Cindy (Leon) Dunn of Coldwater, Shaunda Gordon of Bronson, Sheryld (Kevin) Kokinis of Coldwater, Delbert (Lori) Cole of Union City, Tim (Beth) Cole of Bronson, Corrine Webber of Bronson, Pat (Laurie) Cole of Union City; her 22 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and her many loving nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Lillian Miller, her husband Delbert Cole, and her siblings Carl Miller, Byron Miller, Charles Miller, and Patricia Miller.
Memorial Donations are suggested to St, Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the Branch County Commission on Aging, Big Brothers Big Sisters, or to the charity of your choice.
