Obituary for Scott W. Giver
Scott Wayne Giver, 63, of Sherwood, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Centrica Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 1-3:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. No other services will be held with cremation to follow the visitation.
Scott was born March 29, 1960 in Vicksburg, MI to Kenneth and Marilyn (Smith) Giver. He married Dorothy Campbell September 24, 1995 in Coldwater, MI.
Mr. Giver owned and operated Scott’s Landscaping Service for many years. He also provided house cleaning services. Scott enjoyed watching Dragster races and collecting Hot Wheels.
Scott is survived by his wife Dorothy of Sherwood; his children Katie Giver of Florida, Billy (Penny Collins) Howell of Sherwood, Justin (Corina) Gillespie of Burlington; his siblings Elsie Cameron of Battle Creek and Mike Giver of Lawton; his 6 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and former wife Tina Clark of Coldwater. Scott was preceded in death by his siblings Dennis Giver, Sue Wood, and Debi.
