Obituary for Ruby "June" Vincent

Ruby June Vincent, 79, of Tekonsha, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 19, 2022.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard with Pastor Thomas Ramundo officiating. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
June was born May 30, 1943, in Coldwater, MI to Arthur and Ruby Louise (Densmore) Sell. She was married to William Katz for 18 years and together they had 3 children. On May 20, 1989, she married Robert Vincent at the Coldwater Free Methodist Church, where they have continued to attend since then.
June was a stay-at-home mom and teacher’s aide before earning her LPN certification from South Central Michigan School of Nursing in July of 1981. She worked at various nursing jobs until she became Dr. Jim Dobbins’ nurse at Marshall Medical Associates in 1986 and lovingly cared for their patients for 10 years. She retired from nursing in 1996 and owned and operated a painting and wallpapering business with her husband Bob until 2007. Her remaining years of employment were as a secretary at the Coldwater Free Methodist Church and as an assistant teacher for His Little Lambs Preschool until 2019.
June was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed rocking her grandbabies and attending her grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities, rarely missing a one. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the focus of her life, and her greatest desire was that they all come to know Jesus.
June is survived by her husband Bob; her children Chris (Trish) Katz of Union City, Kevin (Ruth) Katz of Hampton, IA, Missy (Doug) Hoath of Concord; her siblings Becky (Gerald) McClellan of Hillsdale, Ed Sell of Coldwater, Randy (Kathy)Sell of Coldwater; her grandchildren Amanda (Zeb) Bradley, Taylor Katz, Ashley (Nathan) Marsh, Morgan Katz, Ansley Katz , Regan Katz, Jarrod (Brooke) Hoath, David Katz, Jacob Hoath, Rachel Katz; 6 great grandchildren; her step children Bill (Lisa) Vincent, Bob (Jill) Vincent and Karla (Randy) Ramon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
