Ronald Paul Borus, 86, of Reading passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home. In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
He was born January 21, 1934 to William and Theresa (Kastl) Borus in Detroit, MI. Ron was an easy going man and had worked as a truck driver until his retirement. On December 22, 1997 he married Joan Boratyn and she survives. He enjoyed spending his time farming, hunting, boating, playing the lottery, and following the stock market. He and Joan would also winter at their home in Florida in recent years which was always a trip they both looked forward to. Ronald was a wonderful and kind man that will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by his children Barbara (Donald “Skeeter”) Reynolds of Reading, MI, Rhonda (Bruce) Heller of Marshall, MI, Theresa Hicksenhiser of Spring Arbor, MI; his step-children Christine Kepley of Westland, MI, Diane (Gary) Bingamen of Novi, MI, James (Lori) Jackwak of Wolverine Lake, MI; his sister Donna (George) Halter of Troy, MI; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Viola Rhonehouse, and his brother William Borus.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
