Roman Robert Lesnau, 90, of Coldwater passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home. In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
He was born June 5, 1930 in Detroit, MI to John and Steffany (Stanick) Lesnau. After graduating High School, Roman honorably served his country in the United Sates Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a truck driver and in 1960 he married the love of his life, Sally Kalb in Toledo, OH and she preceded him in death on January 12, 2013. He had also been a member of the Local 299 Union for 38 years and enjoyed maintaining a nice yard; but, his true passion was his family. Roman was a complete and devout husband to his beloved Sally and nothing meant more to him than family.
Survivors include his daughter Colene Capps of Coldwater, his stepson Gary (Beverly) Vickers of Coldwater; six grandchildren, Danielle (John) Ludwig, Jeremy Capps, Christopher Capps, M.J. (Lisa) Vickers, Joshua Vickers, Adam (Ashley) Vickers, and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sally, one sister, and two brothers.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
