Obituary for Roger Blansit
Roger E. Blansit, 75, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Roger was born February 21, 1947 in Garrett, IN to Earl & Esther (Williams) Blansit. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1965, attended Michigan State University and then served in the United States Navy. He married Melissa D. (New) Johnson on December 31, 2019 in Coldwater, Michigan.
Roger owned and operated Roger’s TV for many years. He enjoyed flying, karaoke, playing the guitar and writing music. He was adept at fixing just about anything, but especially loved working on cars.
Roger is survived by his wife Melissa; his daughter Lisa (Dan) Vukmirovich; his grandchildren Helen Blansit, Naomi Blansit, Mae Blansit, Anna Vukmirovich and Sophie Vukmirovich; his brothers Tim Blansit, Marc Blansit, and sister Lexie Bopp. He was preceded in death by his sons Brian Blansit and Shawn Blansit and his brother Victor (Corky) Williams.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Branch County.
