Robert Lee "Bob"  Worden
Robert “Bob” Lee Worden, 87, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his home.
A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Bob was born December 25, 1930 to Gerald Worden and Dortha (Mettler) Reed in Quincy. He was a graduate of Union City High School. Bob met and then married Mary Morgan on September 13, 1957 in Whidbey Island, WA.
He served honorably with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War era. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. After his discharge from the United States Navy, he worked for LTV Aerospace as an avionics technician with the A-7 Corsair for over twenty years. Bob was a member of the Coldwater American Legion Post # 52. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary; his children, Diane Brockwell of Ridgecrest, California, Pam (Dennis) Burghdoff of Union City, Gary Worden of Ridgecrest, California and Robert Worden Jr. of Sherwood; his 14 grandchildren, his 15 great grandchildren; his one great great grandchild and his sister, Janice (Louis) Tobolske of Quincy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Lonnie Brockwell and his brother Ross Worden.
