Robert Benjamin Bender, 63, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at his home. Following the wishes of Robert, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bob was born to Robert George and Lois Jean (Layman) Bender on January 1, 1957 in Paulding, OH. Upon graduation, he had continued on to honorably serve his country in the United States Airforce. During his service, Robert met his wife Miriam Brugiatti and on December 30, 1992 they were married and she survives. Bob had been employed as a truck driver and was a member of the NRA. He liked computers but the outdoors was his passion; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting.
In addition to his wife Miriam, Robert is survived by one son Jason Bender of Sturgis; his two siblings Mary Rothfuss of Brooklyn, MI, Al (Kim) Bender of Missouri; one step-son Joel (Tania) Nieves; three step-grandchildren Anthony, Natalie, Jaqueline; one niece Angie (Ruben) Avery; two great nieces Amanda and Sarah; and one great nephew Dillon.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
