Obituary for Richard Milo Brown

Richard M. Brown, 80, of Coldwater went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 7, 2022. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Coldwater Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Rob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mason Cemetery in Coldwater. Please join us for a luncheon at the Nazarene Church to celebrate Richard following interment. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
He was born April 23, 1942 to William and Charlotte (Sours) Brown in Coldwater. Richard was a graduate of Coldwater High School and upon graduation he honorably served his country in the United States Marines. Upon completion of his service to his country, Richard pursued a career in master cabinet making, carpentry and following in the path and service of his Lord Jesus. He was a selfless man and would help anyone in need, regardless if he knew them or not. He attended the Coldwater Church of the Nazarene, The Christian Pilgrim Church and countless other churches. Richard was a man of faith that enjoyed working in his garden, fishing, baseball, boxing and wrestling; but above all else, he adored his family especially his grandchildren. He filled his heart with those he loved and cherished most and will be dearly missed.
Richard leaves behind his children Veronica Brown of Quincy, Barnabas Brown, Richard M. (Kendra) Brown II both of Coldwater; his grandchildren Victoria Rose Brown, Ella Rose Brown, Richard M. Brown III, Ava Grace Brown, Noah Brown and his many loving nieces, nephews & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Harlow Bates, Wilma Briggs, Lee Brown, Gladys McVicker, Alice Crossgrove and Dale Brown. www.dutcherfh.com
