Rhonda S. Kollmorgen, 65, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home.
The funeral service will be held on Monday. April 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Aaron Chittick of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2 – 5:00 at the funeral home.
Rhonda was born November 12, 1952 in Hudson, MI to John & Helen (Baugh) Summers. She graduated from Coldwater High School in 1970. She married Sam Kollmorgen on May 28, 1982 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on October 7, 1994. Rhonda worked at the Community Health Center of Branch County as a Registered Pharmacy Technician, after 44 years of service, she retired in 2014.
Rhonda was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Ducks Unlimited. She enjoyed slow pitch softball and recreation league volleyball. She also enjoyed reading and collecting Readers Digest Condensed Books, sewing, gardening, walking, campfires with her family and her dogs. She especially enjoyed laughing and joking with her family and friends.
Rhonda is survived by her siblings Cheryl Hurd of Coldwater, Mary (Jim) French of Middleville, John (Diana) Summers, Carol (Mike) Kelley, and Janet (Jerry) Zabonick all of Coldwater, her 9 nieces & nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
