Obituary for Rex W. Snyder

Rex W. Snyder, 85, of Quincy, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Rex was born on September 11, 1933 to Cliffton and Rosa (Gage) Snyder in Coldwater. He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and had served with the U.S. Army. He married Margaret M. Pifer on June 7, 1957 in Angola, Indiana she preceded him in death on March 15, 2016.
He was a dock worker for ATL in Coldwater for many years and then worked for HC Starck in Coldwater as a laborer retiring in 1999. Rex loved working and being on his farm. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Margaret, walking, being outdoors, animals, fishing, reading and he especially loved being with family and all of his grandchildren.
Rex is survived by his children; Mike Snyder, Cheryl Tefft both of Quincy and Sharon Snyder of Coldwater, his grandchildren; Heather (Adam) Reubin, Ray (Jessica) Tefft and Ronnie Peet and his great grandchildren; Marlena, Skylee, Aubrey, Isiah, Mylie and Cassius. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
