Obituary for Paula J. Brewer
Paula J. Brewer, 60, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Lockwood Community Church with Pastor Kevin Looper officiating, interment will follow at Snow Prairie Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 4-7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral home in Coldwater.
Paula was born September 26, 1963, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Brockelbank) Baker in Coldwater, MI. She married Mark Brewer on September 10, 1988, in Coldwater.
Mrs. Brewer worked for Century Bank & Trust for 25 years, retiring in 2019. Paula enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, knitting, and especially baking. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her favorite granddaughter, Nevaeh.
Paula is survived by her husband, Mark Brewer of Coldwater; her daughter Kristan Brewer of Coldwater; her sister Pam (Scott) Brewer of Jacksonville, NC; her granddaughter Nevaeh Brewer; her sister-in-law Brenda (Norman) Baker of Sherwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; son Ryan Brewer; and siblings Ray Joe Baker, Norman Baker, and Linda Baker.
