Nita Mae Hart, age 84, of Coldwater, passed away Aug 23, 2019 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. In celebration of Nita’s life, the family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 from 12:00 -2:00PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater
Nita was born April 23, 1935, in Morenci, MI to Grenval and Gladys (Ranger)Spangler. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1953 and completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degree while raising 4 children. Ms. Hart was a math teacher at Coldwater High School for 26 years.
Nita is survived by her loving partner, William B. Johnson of Coldwater, two daughters, Susan Hart of Rising Sun, IN, and Lauri Hart of Bronson, two sons, Scott Hart of Kalamazoo and Gregg Hart (Kris Burnell) of Goleta, CA, her grandchildren Alex Hart, Nick Hart, and Sam Hart, two brothers Val (Jan) Spangler and Kirk (Lori) Spangler, two sisters Carol (Larry) Thompson and Donna (Dick) Bruce and 22 nieces and nephews.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents; twin brothers Bobby and Dickie Billows, and ex-husband Larry Hart.
