NC Dean Blanchard, 81, of Argyle TX, died peacefully Friday morning, May 4, 2018 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Denton, Texas.
A graveside military service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Lockwood Cemetery in Coldwater. Local arrangements are being handled by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Mr. Blanchard was born on August 14, 1936 in Ovid Township, Michigan to NC and Ethel Grace (Otis) Blanchard. He was a lifelong resident of Coldwater Michigan until shortly after retirement when he went to reside with his daughter in Texas. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was loved and respected throughout his lifetime.
He is survived by his son, Brent; his daughters, Cheri and Holly along with many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous step children, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
