Obituary for Mary M. Pearse

Mary M. Pearse, 77, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating. Private interment will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4-7:00 PM, with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Mary was born June 24, 1944 in Farmington, MI to Charles & Virginia (Valentine) Larzelere. She married Dennis W. Pearse on April 2, 1966 in Livonia, MI.
Mrs. Pearse worked in accounting as a bookkeeper for many years. Throughout her career she worked for Schafer Distributing, Grahl Industries and the last 15 years, until her retirement, at Arnold Auto Parts.
Mary was very devout in her faith, born and raised in the Catholic religion. She had attended the Coldwater Free Methodist Church and Lockwood Community Churches where she was very involved in many of the church activities, but her heart led her back to Catholicism. Mary Loved knitting and crocheting and enjoyed spending time on the lake. Her family was most important to her, especially her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband Dennis, her children Jacqueline Pearse of Grand Haven, Dawn (Randy) Fox of Bronson, Holly (Anthony) Janas of Battle Creek; her siblings Jack (Judy) Larzelere of Flint, Dale (Cathy) Larzelere of FL, Helen Bradish of CA, Michael (Bonnie) Larzelere of Port Huron; her grandchildren Jennifer (Ty), Sadie, Britnee (Chad), Jeffery (Jasmine), Brandi, Jordyn, Marc (Alisha), Ryan, Brad (Cassady), Mckenzee, Erica, Skyler and Lauren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Ted Pearse and her brothers Gordon, Gene and Richard Larzelere.
