Mary L. McCurley, 93, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at Northern Lakes Nursing Home in Angola, IN. The family will be hosting a memorial luncheon on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2-5:00 PM at Occasions, 430 W. Chicago St., Coldwater. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home. Mary was born February 5, 1929 in Pontiac, MI to Howard and Rolene (Bower) Garman. She married William A. McCurley on June 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2018. Mrs. McCurley was a secretary for 25 years at Federal Mogul and for 19 years with the Quincy Community School System, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her sons James McCurley of Florida, Hal (Karen) McCurley of Coldwater; her brother David (Mary) Garman of Richmond, IN; her granddaughter Sarah (Michael) Waltke of Coldwater; her great grandchildren Dane and Avery; nieces and nephews Becky Garman of Coldwater, Bethany Garman of Coldwater, Sam (Alicia) Garman of Maryland and Kristina (Brian) Jackson of Traverse City, great nephew and niece, Howard and Miranda Garman and great niece Annabelle Jackson.
