Mary Diane Marvin, 84 of Tekonsha passed Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. A graveside funeral will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard with Pastor Pat Baughman officiating. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home. Mary was born May 15, 1936 to Benson and Edwina (Ash) Evans in Girard Township. On June 25, 1956 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Marvin in Angola. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2012. Mary worked outside the home at Maple Lawn and Kroger Egg, but mainly was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary had a strong faith and lived her life with God in mind. She read her bible along with many other types of books. Mary enjoyed the outdoors, especially going camping, traveling to the UP, Sault Ste. Marie, and watching all types of wildlife. She also liked playing cards and doing adult coloring books. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. Mary will be remembered for her patient, caring, and kind-hearted spirit. She will be missed dearly by those that knew and loved her. Mrs. Marvin is survived by her children James (Margie) Marvin of Union City, Cheri Sharp of Coldwater, Ben (Tammie) Marvin of Union City, and Jackie (Kevin) Miller of Coldwater; her grandchildren Ryan (Amanda) Marvin, Joe (Robin) Marvin, Amanda (Ryan) Fillmore, Devon (Taylor) Marvin, and Zachary (Nicole) Marvin; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Marvin; and her sister Virginia (Garval) Doty.
