Marilyn  Wisman
Marilyn Wisman, 76, of Bronson passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 surrounded by her family at home.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Private interment will be held at a later date at Bronson Cemetery.
Marilyn was born August 27, 1941 to Carl F. and Harriet F. (Bunting) Wolfe Jr. in Bryan, Ohio After graduating from Montpelier High School she married Norman “Butch” Wisman on July 11, 1959 in Montpelier, Ohio.
She had worked as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Bronson and then as a secretary for Hooker Oil Company. Marilyn was an avid bowler, as she was the coach and instructor of the Bronson Bowling team for 38 years. She was the Past President and is a Life member of the Bronson Woman’s Bowling Association, Past President of the Bronson Young American Bowling Association, Past Secretary and Treasurer of the State of Michigan American Jr. Bowling Congress and a Life member of the Woman’s International Bowling Congress. Marilyn enjoyed arts and crafts painting but she especially loved all of her grand and great grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 58 years Norman “Butch”; her children, Roger (Rose) Wisman of Bronson, Al (Bobbette) Wisman of Hudson and Rhonda (Danny Williams) Wisman of Quincy; her grandchildren, Joeby (Brittany) Wisman, Justin (Amanda) Pfenning, Jesicca Wisman, Rachel Wisman and Brian, Amanda (Brandon) Bishop, Ryan Wisman and Wyatt (Cailie) Williams; her great grandchildren, Conner, Carley, Taylor, Brooklyn, Ashlyn, Caitlyn, Jace, Zander, Aurora and Phoenix; her special friends Holly (Todd Cranson) Rees, Annie and Caleb McGuire and Avery Rees. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her sister Shirley Fifer and her best friends Marsha Miller and Linda Washburn.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Bronson School Jr./Sr. Bowling teams or Southern Care Hospice.
