Obituary for Margie S. McDaniel
Margie Sue McDaniel, 59 of Coldwater passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home under hospice care while surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial service will take place at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Brighton Chapel Church in Howe, IN with Pastor Gary Riphenberg officiating.
Margie was born June 21, 1962 to Irvin and Marilyn (Holt) Smoker in Sturgis. On May 27, 1990 she married the love of her life, Bruce McDaniel. Together they made many memories. Margie was an avid fan of horses. She also enjoyed going to auctions and antiquing. Margie liked being outdoors, especially farming and mowing. Her true joy in life was being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Margie will be remembered for her strong faith, generosity, and loving personality. She will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Margie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bruce McDaniel of Bronson; her children Taylor (Danielle) McDaniel of Pleasant Lake, IN and Rachel McDaniel of Bronson; her siblings Mikeal Smoker, Steven (Diane) Smoker, Joe Smoker, Peggy (Joel) Werner, and Sandee (Jeff) Sager; her grandchildren Ellie, Simeon, Benjamin, and Asher McDaniel; several nieces & nephew; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
