Obituary for Marchia "Kathy" Hall
Marchia K. “Kathy” Hall, 71, of Coldwater Michigan passed away July 30, 2022 at The Laurels of Coldwater. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Marchia was born July 22, 1951 in Coldwater, MI to Kenneth and Rita (Grimes) Hall.
She attended Coldwater High School and earned an associate’s degree in Hematology as well as a Certification as a CNA. She worked at the former Coldwater Service and as a nurse’s aide at The Laurels, while continuing her education. She then went to work for Halls Adult Foster Care Home, a family business, until she became disabled.
Kathy had several hobbies and many talents including crocheting, needlepoint, knitting, making Jewelry, and diamond paintings. She was a beloved friend of many.
Kathy was survived by her only sister Carroll Simons; her nieces, Kendra Rankin, Brandyn Sheehy, and Virginia Lawhead; great nieces and nephews Dalton Cole, Austin Rankin, Anthony Lawhead, Laura Dillard, Chelcie Keeton, and Gemma Sheehy; three great, great nieces, Analyssa, Cynthia, and Olivia.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth and Rita Hall, as well as her nephew Thomas Rankin. Memorials may be directed to the Branch Area Food Pantry. www.dutcherfh.com.
