Obituary for Luella M. Senker

Luella M. Senker, 93, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Maple Lawn.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Coldwater with Pastor Susan Reichenberg officiating. Entombment of ashes at the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden will follow. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Luella was born October 4, 1927 in Coldwater, MI to Ray & Augusta (Cole) Fales. She married William F. Senker on July 4, 1944. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1998.
Mrs. Senker was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She worked briefly for Randall Food Products in Tekonsha and spent many years as the custodian at the First Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member, serving on the Board of Deacons and a member of the Deborah Women’s Circle. Luella belonged to the Coldwater Lady Elks and the Women’s Bowling Association, Powder Puff League. She received many state and local awards in her 48 years of bowling. Luella was an excellent cake decorator, making many birthday, wedding and specialty cakes. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially watching her grand and great grandchildren in all of their sporting events.
Luella is survived by her children Diana (Harold) Massey, Robin Swift, Marsha (Gary) Stetler, Billie (John) Pollack all of Coldwater, her half-brothers and sisters Janet (Lee) Springstead of Coldwater, Judy (George) Skinner, Barbara Siler, Alan Fales, Linda Moore all of San Antonio, TX, her grandchildren Tamie (Norm) Olson, Jim (Carol) Barnes, Chad (Allison) Massey, Shawn (Luanne) Massey, Heather (Randy) Skidmore, Holly (Darryl) Eichorn, Tobi (Patrick) Reardon, Brian (Julia) Stetler, Michael (Amie) Pollack, Christopher (Becky) Pollack, Marc (Jennifer) Pollack, Nick Cross, Megan Cross , Emilee Hudson, Jason Hudson; her great grandchildren Chase Olson, Andrew Barnes, Cameron Barnes, Megan Barnes, Jameson Massey, Lachlan Massey, Porter Skidmore, Laiken Skidmore, Joseph Eichorn, Emie Reardon, Connor Reardon, Andrew Stetler, Isaac Stetler, Jack Stetler, Abbi Pollack, Jacob Pollack, Lucas Pollack, Josh Pollack, Che Pollack, Maize Cross, Milo Cross, Devon Hudson, Kohen Hudson and Braylon Hudson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Ray & Augusta (Cole) Fales, her brother Marvin Fales, granddaughter Gina Massey and half- brothers Glendon and Danny Fales.
