Obituary for Lucy E. Osborne

Lucy Esther Osborne, 75, of Coldwater, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagles #1907 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Private interment of her ashes will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Lucy was born on March 22, 1944 to Warden and Nellie (Wagers) Holland in Blackwater, Kentucky. She was able to graduate with her GED through Coldwater schools later in life. Lucy married Eugene Osborne on November 28, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio and he sadly preceded her in death on January 6, 1992.
She was a line leader at TI Automotive in Coldwater for 27 years retiring in 2003. She had also been their UAW Union President. Lucy was a volunteer for Bingo at 101 Lounge in Angola for many years.
Lucy loved to cook, as nobody left her house with an empty stomach. She also loved her dog Wickett. She enjoyed bingo, going to casinos, watching TV game shows and flower gardening. Above all else, she adored all of her grandchildren.
Lucy is survived by her daughters; Sandy Shears and Cindy (Matt Stickel) Winter both of Coldwater, her grandchildren; Michael Winter, Jeffrey (Brea Rennirt) Winter, Makayla Winter, Libby Shears and Tyler Stickel, her great grandchildren; Landon Sizemore, Titan Sizemore, Kaylynn Winter, Maddie Winter and Zoey Winter, her siblings; Jewell (Herschel) VanWormer, Mearl Holland, Jo Ann Osborne and Louise (Jeff) Haubold all of Coldwater. She is also survived by her dear friends; Geneva Totten of Cincinnati, OH,and Ruth Hurst of Coldwater. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Eugene, her sisters; Phronia Holland, Lois Jackson and Blanche Osborne and her brother; Earl Holland.
