Obituary for Londean Millard

Londean Millard, 79, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00PM. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Londean was born January 12, 1941 in Leatherwood, Kentucky to Joel & Virgie (Cornett) Millard. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Millard served in law enforcement for 16 years with the Coldwater Police Department. He owned and operated the former Channel Inn (Willows) for a short time and worked several years at Lakeland Correctional Facility, from which he later retired.
Londean was a member of the Coldwater Eagles and the former VFW post. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and enjoyed competitive shooting. Londean was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed tying bait.
He is survived by his children Scott (Pippa) Millard of Coldwater, Anita (Alan) Green of East Leroy, his sister Annabelle Johnson of Lexington, KY, his grandchildren Harley (Etana) Millard, Sarah (Corbin) Sanford, Kassi Green, Kayla Green; his great grandchildren Lylah, Veta, Violet, Jericho, Jr., Eli & Khloe and his former wife Carolyn Grunwald of Coldwater.
