Kim A. Mason, 57, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home. Cremation has taken place, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Kim was born August 10, 1963 in Coldwater, MI to Herbert & Lula (Michael) Mason. He married Elisabeth C. Steere on June 6, 1987.
Kim was a welder at Vestil in Angola, IN for the past 25 years but his greatest passion was operating his family farm. He stayed busy, always tinkering, fixing and problem solving. Kim was very creative and loved to fabricate sculptures out of different metal, nuts and bolts.
Kim is survived by his wife Elisabeth, his sons Nicholas (Tabatha) Mason of Coldwater, Alexander Mason (Nicole Sollmer) of Grand Rapids, his sisters Kay Easterday and Peggy Mason both of Angola, IN, his grandchildren Ivan and Hank Mason, his mother-in-law Felicity Steere of Ft. Wayne, IN, his father-in-law James (Joan) Steere of Corona, CA, brother-in-law Lloyd (Debra) Steere of Pleasanton, CA, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kurt Mason and sister Judy Hantz.
