Kenneth “Bud” Eugene Nunnery II, 57 of Coldwater passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne. In following Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Kenneth was born June 11, 1960 to Kenneth and Patricia (Rierson) Nunnery, Sr. in Sturgis. After graduation form Coldwater High School, Ken began a long career as a steel & iron worker, becoming a foreman with Iron Workers Local 340/25, leading a crew in building steel buildings. On July 9, 1983 he married Tammy Eberts in Coldwater. Ken was a hardworking man who truly liked going to work and proud of his union membership. He was a man of many interests including hunting, fishing, and gardening. Ken enjoyed spending time around his home taking care of the fish pond and doing yardwork. He was a big NASCAR fan. His true joy in life was spending time with his family. He also had a special love for his five dogs. Ken will be remembered for his big heart, giving spirit, and his sense of humor. He will be missed by many. Ken is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tammy Nunnery of Coldwater; his son Corey (Kaitlin) Nunnery of Mattawan; his step-son Eric Eberts of Coldwater; his mother and stepfather, Patricia (Nunnery-Burke) and Ben Rivera of Coldwater; his sister Angela (Don) Kranz of Yuma, AZ; his brothers Ronald Nunnery of Burlington and Hank (Korinna) Burke of Bronson; his grandchildren Talan, Taylor, Aubrey Eberts and their mother, Tracy Sweet; several nieces & nephews; his good friend Keith Knauss. He was preceded in death by his father, and his step-father Ronald “Spike” Burke. Memorials may be directed to the Branch County Humane Society. www.dutcherfh.com
