Obituary for Julia Brown

Julia (Isaac) Brown, 100 of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home in Coldwater. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 12:00PM noon at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday from 10:00AM until time of service at the funeral home.
She was born May 12, 1921 to Orie and Doria (Wireman) Isaac in White Oak, KY. On January 12, 1942 Julia married Banford Brown in Salyersville, KY and he preceded her in death. She had been employed by Phillips Steel cleaning offices for 17 years and had attended the Christian Pilgrim Church in Coldwater. Julia was a spitfire of woman that enjoyed mowing her yard, shopping, and most of all her grandchildren. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her two sons Michael Brown of Quincy, Steven (Carol) Brown of Homer; her three daughters Deloris Pattemore of Lincoln Park, MI, Joan Clark of Coldwater, Juanita (Stan) Barry of Quincy; a brother Willie Isaac of White Oak, KY; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren including a very special great grandson Ramsey Hart who was the heart and soul of her life; five great-great grandchildren; and her special neighbors Jim Smith and Allen Vest.
In addition to her husband Banford, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Murel Vanderpool and Irene Brown.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association.
