Obituary for Joyce E. McCollough
Joyce E. McCollough, 77, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A private graveside service was held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Lockwood Cemetery in Ovid Township. Arrangements were cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Joyce was born January 23, 1943 in Coldwater, MI to Fred & Hildred (Hulce) Tackett. She had worked at various local factories, including Crotty Corporation. Most recently she worked at the Coldwater Wal-Mart for 6 years. Joyce enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts. She was a skilled seamstress and spent much time crocheting and quilting. Joyce loved animals, especially her dog “Sassy.”
Joyce is survived by her son Bill (Candy) Butz of Elwell, MI, her brother Richard Tackett, her grandchildren Erikia (Tom) Gray of Ithaca, Ashley (Ryan) Simcox of Alma, Nathan Butz of Elwell, Kyle Butz of St. Louis, MI, her great grandchildren Colton, Damien, Aubri, Shaniya, Braylon, Kyra, Ivy and Sue and her former husband Bill Butz of Three Rivers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mike Tackett and her dog Peanut. www.dutcherfh.com.
