Obituary for Joyce J. Clark
Joyce Joann Clark, 77 of Coldwater and formerly Sturgis passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
A private burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Joyce was born January 13, 1945 to Harry and Frances (Ellis) Rogers in Quincy. She was a 1964 Coldwater High School graduate and a hardworking woman. She married Charles Clark and together they made many memories, including playing Mr. & Mrs. Claus at Christmas for many years in Sturgis. Joyce spent many hours volunteering at the Sturgis VFW. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and doing yardwork. Joyce did not have children, so her nieces and nephews became very close. She will be remembered for her loving, cordial, and giving spirit. She will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Joyce is survived by her brothers Harry Rogers of Chula Vista, CA and Ron Rogers of Quincy; her brother-in-law David Button of Charleston, SC; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles Clark; her sisters Shirley Button and Wanda (Roger) Carter; and her sister-in-law Deb Rogers.
