Obituary for Joseph C. Rubley

Joseph C. Rubley, 44, of Bronson, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
The funeral service will be Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church in Bronson officiating. Interment will follow at Fry Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 1-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Joseph was born June 1, 1973 in Sturgis, MI to Clyde & Jolynn (Calhoon) Rubley. He graduated from Bronson High School in 1991 and was self-employed, working in construction most of his life. He married Holli Currier on December 20, 2014.
Joseph was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and cutting wood. In earlier years he had been involved in 4-H.
Joseph is survived by his wife Holli, his children Cody Rubley, Daniel Rubley both of Spencerville, IN, Kailynn Rubley of Bronson, his mom and step father Jolynn & John Holsinger of Sturgis, his father Clyde Rubley of Bronson, his siblings Jason Rubley of Burr Oak, Johnathon Rubley of Bronson, Julie Legg of Bronson, Breana (Shane) Dules of Burr Oak, Bricelyn (Justin) Allen of Bronson, step sister Amanda Miller of Reading, grandmother Mary Joan Calhoon of Bronson his former wife Colleen (Cummins) Thompson of Spencerville, IN and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George Calhoon, Marshall & Janean Rubley and his uncle Todd Rubley.
