Obituary for Joseph Allen Roussey

Joseph Allen Roussey, 60, of Bronson passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place with a burial of ashes to be held Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Adams Cemetery in Bronson. Following the committal service a reception will be held at the Bronson American Legion. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
He was born August 5, 1962 to Raymond “Gene” and Eva (Phillips) Roussey in Coldwater, MI. On July 4, 2009 Joe married Lanora “Teresa” West and she survives. Mr. Roussey was a graduate of Bronson High School, class of 1980 and had led a career in construction. He was a member of the Bronson American Legion and found his joy in the great outdoors. Joe liked golfing, fishing, boating; but above all, he loved just being with his family and friends. He was a dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, beloved brother, and friend to many that will be dearly missed.
In addition to his wife Teresa, he is survived by his children Sara (Thomas) Grant of Snead, AL, Cassady (Bradley) Fox of Howe, IN; his siblings Barbara Haley of Bronson, Nick (Ellen Rocho) Roussey of Sullivan, IL, Rick (Paula) Roussey of Richardson, TX, Tina (Greg) Wells of Coldwater, Debra (Peter) Hofman of Milwaukee, WI, Diana Roussey of Bronson; his six grandchildren Addison Grant, Jordan Grant, Owen Grant, Jadyn Fox, Kylie Fox, Kolten Fox and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carol Roussey, and brother Thomas Roussey.
