John D. Shaw, 75, of Hillsdale, MI, formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at his home.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation services are being provided by Dutcher Funeral Home.
John was born October 8, 1945 in Huntington, IN to Earnest & Crystal (Ferris) Shaw. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. John married Deborah A. Caley on March 20, 1966 in Huntington, IN. She preceded him in death on January 20, 2019.
Mr. Shaw spent his career as a project manager working in environmental health and safety. He was a member of the VFW in Huntington and enjoyed a love of trains and mushroom hunting.
John is survived by his children Kenneth (Michelle) Shaw of Lake City, MI, Aaron (Michelle) Shaw of Sanford, ME, Kellie (Greg) McClellan of Jonesville, MI, his sister Nancy Shaw of Huntington, IN, his grandchildren Ashley Shaw, Crystel Shaw, Ashleyann Moyer, Kendra (Nathan) Barnes, John Shaw and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by both parents and his sisters Ida Thorne & Dorothy Emley.
