Obituary for John A. Nagle

John A.  Nagle
John A. Nagle, 71, of Coldwater, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Lockwood Community Church with Pastor Shayne Looper officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the memorial service at the church. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
John was born September 3, 1946 to Harvey A. Nagle and Betty (Bell) Nagle-Shaffer in Coldwater. He married Christine Gleason on November 15, 1999 in St. Louis, Michigan. John had been employed at Essex Wire in Coldwater for many years and then at Fab Glass in Angola, Indiana for a few years.
He loved fishing, hunting, camping and being outdoors. John loved his woodworking and playing pool at the Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater. He always listened to the oldies and enjoyed going to car shows and Firekeepers Casino. John loved to make people SMILE. Above all else he loved his kids, grandkids and his favorite dog Sugar.
John is survived by his wife Christine; his daughters, Betty (Mark) Draper and Lisa Halsey both of Sturgis; his son, Scott Nagle of Union City; his step-sons, Ralph (Hope) Bauder of Bronson, Timothy Gleason of Burr Oak, Matthew Gleason and Joshua (Brandy) Gleason both of Coldwater; his sisters, Betty Gleason of Coldwater and Kathryn (Lonny) Fuller of Pleasant Lake, Indiana; his sister in law, Ruth Nagle of Mendon; his 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Carrie Gleason; his sister, Carol Chapman; his brother, Ron Nagle; his brother in law, Lucky Gleason and his step-father, Bill Shaffer.
