Obituary for Joanne M. Cox
Joanne Margaret Cox, 57 of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at home after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer.
Joanne was born September 10, 1962, in Coldwater to Robert L. and Rose M. (Shaw) Brouse. She met the love her life, Wayne Cox, as a teenager and the two were married on February 3, 1995.
Joanne loved life and loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed visiting the casino, her scratch-off lottery tickets and shopping in her free time. She also loved spoiling all of the little ones in her life, especially her great-grandbabies Ceely and Sheldon and her great-nephew Dominic.
Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Wayne, her mother Rose Brouse of North Carolina, her children; Troy (Elena) Cox of Kentucky, Mike (Misty) Cox of Coldwater, Stacey (Angie) Cox of Coldwater, Katie (Orville) Cox of Indiana, James Cox of Michigan, her siblings; Linda (Bill) Murphy of Coldwater, Robert (Ann) Brouse of Indiana, Ron (Jennifer) Brouse of Michigan, Tim (Teresa) Brouse of North Carolina, several beautiful grandbabies and great-grandbabies and lots of loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Brouse Sr. and her oldest son, Olen Lee.
No services will be held at this time. A memorial is being planned for a later date.
