Obituary for Jerry Caudill
Jerry W. Caudill, 64, of Bronson, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Evangelist Sherry Caudill officiating. Interment will follow at Snow Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held, prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Jerry was born April 16, 1958 in Maysville, KY to Johnny Ottis & Minnie Mae (Johnson) Caudill. He married Betty Wiles on November 9, 2000 in Girard.
Mr. Caudill has worked most of his life in the family scrap metal business, Caudill & Sons in Bronson. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan and enjoyed raising, breaking and training horses on the family farm in earlier years. Jerry had a great love of music, playing guitar and banjo and traveled extensively to churches, parties and family gatherings to play music. He took great pride in his family and treasured the time they all spent together.
Jerry is survived by his wife Betty; his children Jerry Caudill, Jr. of Sturgis, Eric (Jessie) Caudill of Sturgis, Ashley (Jason) Newman of Dewey, AZ, Trevor Caudill of Rocky Mountain, NC, Anita (Trevor) Ruffin of Elm City, NC, Jeremiah Caudill of Hermiston, OR; siblings, Denny (Ruby) Caudill of Bronson, Paul (Karen) Caudill of Ontario, IN, Barbara (Roger) Perry of Lafollette, TN, Terry Caudill of Bronson, Debby (Danny) Bohl of Flemingsburg, KY and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and sisters Bobby Caudill, Dean Caudill, James Caudill, Villean Maples, Corean Foudray and Roxanne Fetters.
