Obituary for Jeff S. Chatfield
Jeff Scott Chatfield, 46 of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne due to complications from a stroke.
In following his wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will have a graveside memorial service at Matteson Cemetery at a later date. Cremation services have been provided by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Jeff was born July 7, 1973 to DeWayne and Cora (Cribbs) Chatfield in Fort Wayne. He graduated from high school and then began his working career. Most recently he has been driving for several Amish families. On July 24, 2009 he married Amy Trudell in White Cloud. Jeff was an avid Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fan. His true joy in life was spending time with his family.
Jeff is survived by his wife Amy Chatfield; his father DeWayne Chatfield; his sons Anthony Scott Chatfield and Tyler Austin (Gabrielle Joy Stevens) Chatfield all of Coldwater; his siblings DeWayne Dean (Marsha) Chatfield of Fort Wayne, Kimberly Sue (Tom) Miller of Fort Wayne, and Cynthia Marie (Kevin) Newgent of Bradenton, FL; his best friend Mike Cox and his dog “Sergeant”. He was preceded in death by his mother Cora Chatfield in 2014.
