Jean L. Vinton, 91, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 at Drew’s Place of Coldwater.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
Jean was born March 2, 1928 in Coldwater, MI to George & Marie (Hellenberg) Aebersold. She married Carl F. Vinton on December 10, 1948 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on March 28, 2000.
After high school, Jean attended art school in Chicago and began a lifelong love of painting. Some of her other interests included traveling, reading, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Jean is survived by her children Martha (Carl) Moehle of Ft. Wayne, IN, Becky Gilman of Coldwater, Jenny (Randy) Harper of Coldwater, Tom Vinton of Niles, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
