Janet S. Kesterson, 77 of Kalamazoo passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Quincy Cottage.

In following Janet’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned. She will be interred at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo at a later date. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater.

Janet was born June 23, 1941 to Harold and Bernice (Leonard) Reger in Kalamazoo. After graduation from high school, she attended WMU for a year. She married Jack Kesterson on October 18, 1969. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2013.

Janet was a woman of faith, attending the Methodist Church of Comstock. She enjoyed traveling and spending time in her garden. Janet was a hardworking woman, spending time working at Shakespeare Rod & Reel, Gibson Guitar, and Kroger’s.

Janet is survived by her brother Arnold “Arnie” (Kathy) Reger of Coldwater; her special nieces Shelley Noyes and Jodi Bloom; her special nephew Chad Reger; her sister-in-law Donna Reger; and many other nieces & nephews.
