Obituary for Jane E. Hurley
Jane E. Hurley, 93, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Masonville Place.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Holt from East Ovid United Brethren Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be held prior to the service, on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10 - 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jane was born August 15, 1929 in Coldwater, MI to Leo Edward & A. Berniece (Miller) Hurley. She graduated from Coldwater High School in 1947.
Ms. Hurley worked for the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities for 42 years as an Executive Secretary.
Jane enjoyed traveling, gardening and had a great love of singing, belonging to the Sweet Adelines since 1959. Jane was also a member of the Branch County Genealogy Society, and the Branch County Historical Society.
Jane is survived by her nieces and nephews Diana Lutz, Dece (Fred) Lyons, Dorinda (Mark) Baildon, Sheri (Calvin) Lincoln, Sue (Roger) Macklin, Steve Hurley, David Hurley; her sisters-in-law Donna Hurley-Willison, Karen Hurley and many great, and great-great nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her sister Helen Conrad; her brothers John Hurley and Leo “Jerry” Hurley.
