James M. VanVoorhis, 67, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
James was born June 6, 1955 in Addison, MI to Robert & Janette (Mason) VanVoorhis. He served honorably in the US Army. James married Terri Bordash on August 8, 1998 in Osseo.
James had worked for Mark One Plastics in Jonesville and the Coldwater Home Depot. He enjoyed fishing and loved animals, especially cats.
James is survived by his wife Terri of Osseo; his sons James (Charity) VanVoorhis, Robert D. VanVoorhis all of Edmonton, KY; his step son Joshua Bordash of Osseo; his siblings Robert K. VanVoorhis of Hillsdale, Nancy (Norm) Andrews of Riverbank, CA, Janet Good of Jackson, Susan (Eddie) House of Springfield, MO, David (Diane) VanVoorhis of Kalamazoo, Jeff VanVoorhis of Jerome and five grandchildren.
