Obituary for Irene (Hey) Paschmeyer
Irene H. (Hey) Paschmeyer, 97, of Bronson, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at her home.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10-11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Interment will follow at Spring Arbor Cemetery with a graveside service to begin at 1:00 PM.
Irene was born April 11, 1922 in Grand Rapids, MI to George & Theresa (Nogle) Kimbel. She married Marcus Hey, he preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Roger Paschmeyer, he also preceded her in death.
Irene was a skilled seamstress, operating her own business for many years. She had also worked for Fields Department Store in Jackson. Irene attended the First United Methodist Church in Bronson. Her love of sewing and crafts benefited many organizations with warm clothing, caps, footies, comforters, baby items and much more to help those in need. She was a teacher in Child Evangelism, children’s Bible study and Sunday School for many years.
Irene is survived by her children Delores (Tom) Stone of Sterling Heights, Pauline (Richard) Zamecki of Mesa, AZ, John Hey of Bronson, her sister Lois Rice of Bronson, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
