Irene M. Anderson, 97, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, May, 4, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Irene was born October 7, 1923 in Fulton, Ohio to Glen E. & Ruth M. (Guilford) Dailey. She married Cecil E. Anderson on July 4, 1948 in Adrian, MI. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2006.
Mrs. Anderson was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was a skilled seamstress and a great cook and baker. Irene enjoyed gardening and listening to music.
Irene is survived by her children Lonnie Anderson of Belton, SC, Michael (Diane) Anderson of Armstrong, Iowa, Alan (Rebecca) Anderson of Kalamazoo, Barbara Anderson of Coldwater, her grandchildren Robert Anderson, Andrew Anderson, William Anderson, Julie Brown, Terisa LaLonde, Darlena Lanning, Angela Morgan, Michael Lanning, Ashley Hurd; 15 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Wayne and Floyd, sisters Audrey and her twin Arlene and her stepson Kenneth Anderson.
