Obituary for Grover Herman Burke

Grover Herman Burke, 78, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow the service at Lawrence-Wilson Cemetery in Coldwater. The family will receive guests for visitation Friday, March 4, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
He was born August 2, 1943 to Lonza and Maxine (Casebolt) Burke Sr. in Virgie, KY. On August 11, 1963 Grover married his loving wife Betty Brown in Columbus, OH and she preceded him in death on April 8, 2018. Grover was a hardworking and dedicated family man. He had a passion for the outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, gardening, or his bee keeping Grover just loved to be a part of nature. He was a member of the NRA and was a talented guitar player and karaoke singer; but above all, Grover’s greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Grover leaves behind his children Randy (Vicki) Burke of Coldwater, Sharon (Jeff) Parshall of Reading, Tracy Burke of Coldwater; his brothers Garner Burke and Craig Mullins both of Quincy, his nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and his loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife Betty, Grover was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Pat Bryant, Annie Izzard, and his brothers Jerrel Burke, Orville Burke, and Lonza Burke Jr.
