Obituary for Gerald J. Rubley
Gerald J. Rubley, 56, of Battle Creek, formerly of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home. No services will be held at this time. Interment of ashes will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Gerald was born May 25, 1964 in Coldwater, MI to Dale & Renee (Brauer) Rubley. He held many degrees and certifications in healthcare, including his Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Gerald worked in many different capacities of healthcare throughout his career, including teaching at the college level. He also had worked, more recently for Lowe’s in Battle Creek. Gerald enjoyed animals, boating and driving his 1965 Mustang. He was a social person and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Gerald is survived by his brother Ross (Angie) Rubley, his niece and nephews Kaylani Rubley, Josh Rubley and Kyler Rubley, several aunts and many cousins. He was preceded in death by both parents. Memorials may be directed to Redemption Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. www.dutcherfh.com.
