George W. Halferty, 67, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
George was born July 22, 1951 in Coldwater, MI, the son of Brady Halferty, Jr & Mildred (Gallop) Rigg. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1969 and served in the US Navy.
George did general labor for a variety of places. He had also sold real estate and helped others with tax preparation. He enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with his family and friends.
George is survived by his children Richard “Ricky” (Christina) Briand of Niles, Glenna Halferty of Dexter, Maine, his sister Randi (David) Huss of Coldwater, aunt Betty Taylor of Arizona, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many good friends at Coldwater Crossing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Dan Gallop, Brady Halferty III and his granddaughter Angela Briand. www.dutcherfh.com.
