Obituary for Emma "Lamoine" Hand

Emma “Lamoine” Hand, 97, of Bronson, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Maple Lawn.
The funeral service will be Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Bronson with Rev. John Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Bronson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 11:30 AM at the church. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Lamoine was born September 22, 1920 in Sturgis, MI to F. Stanley & Gladys (Fenner) Tice. She married Clarence Hand on October 21, 1944 in Norfolk, VA, he preceded her in death March 27, 1995.
Mrs. Hand was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She worked briefly at the First National Bank and the local dime store both formerly in Bronson. Lamoine was actively involved with the First Baptist Church in Bronson where she volunteered much of her time including teaching Sunday school. She had enjoyed caring for the children of her family and friends over the years. Lamoine also enjoyed canning, baking, reading and crocheting but she most treasured time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lamoine is survived by her children Daniel (Janis) Hand of Coldwater, Marilyn (Roberto) Abreu of Port Richey, FL, Joyce (Ted) Arnett of Bronson, her sister Patricia Hadden of Coldwater, her grandchildren Dana Rzepka, Tracy (Mark) Bassage, Kent Abreu, Bryan (Suzanne) Abreu, Rebecca Abreu, Melissa (Cameron) Benedict, David (Kelly) Arnett, Ted (Kristen) Arnett, Luke Arnett and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Kathleen Hand, sister Phyllis Crandall and her brothers Charles & Cecil Tice.
