Obituary for Elouise Armstrong

Elouise Armstrong, 95, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Drew’s Place of Coldwater II. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11:30AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00AM until time of service that day at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. She was born January 13, 1925 in Kalamazoo to Earl and Ila (Tozier) Fenner. On December 1, 1945 she married William Armstrong and he preceded her in death in November of 1988. Elouise had worked at the Coldwater Regional Center as a secretary for 22 years until her retirement. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church in Bronson, the Branch County Fair, the Elks and the Farm Bureau as well. Elouise was an avid card player, particularly bridge. She also thoroughly enjoyed golf and snowmobiling but above all, her family was her passion. Elouise is survived by her children Ben Armstrong of Marshall, Karen Hudson of Gobles, MI, Bill (Wendy) Armstrong of Coldwater; grandchildren Melissa (Steve) Schmidt, Celeste Hudson, Matt (Amy) Hudson, Brian (Kate) Armstrong, Tyler (Amber) Armstrong; great grandchildren Genna Schmidt, Hunter Hudson, Logan Hudson, Madison Armstrong, Ben Armstrong, Allie Armstrong and Bryce Armstrong along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, two sisters Marie Wiler and Irene Weigt, her infant brother Earl Fenner Jr., one infant granddaughter and her son-in-law David Hudson.
